Honestly, their squabbles are so petty in retrospect. What Roger and the band should've done, is call a temporary hiatus, and come back to Pink Floyd in a point in time when their respective solo careers would've, as they did, not done very well.

It would depend on what the legal situations were in place at the time. Has there been any further information about Roger's claim he would have been sued if he carried on in the brand band?

^ Solo Waters just couldn't be called Pink Floyd imo that would have been ridiculous but 3 members out of 4 is fair enough imo, even tho the main songwriter was gone.

Gilmour 2006 Tour wasn't called ''Pink Floyd'' because Nick wasn't there.
