My two disc edition 'CD+Blu-ray' [5.1 mix], UK release date 24 July 2015, has been shipped by amazon.co.uk ... looking forward to a 2015 visit to a classic album tomorrow.

I see the limited edition SACD (Analogue Productions Hybrid Multichannel SACD) UK release date has been moved to 27 July 2015 ... presumably this version is to be released in the USA on 24 July and is then flown to the UK over the weekend; of academic interest, as I'm well sorted with 5.1 and SACD, but the equivalent Japan release has been moved to 05 August 2015.

Really high quality card, feels great to hold.

Sounds great too, can't wait to get home and try out the Blu-ray!

Listening to the CD ... sounds great here in the UK, love the subtle changes that make some tracks sound even more 'Floyd' the background effects on Bravery are particularly good.

Wow, looks incomparably better than the old CD version. I might get me one of those for the artwork alone.

Yes sir, Damn!t.

I picked it up yesterday...I didn't listen yet, and did not realize there would be some changes to the cd version. Is that the case? Or just extra sounds in the 5.1?

I charted TER's album position, so I may as well post Roger had a number 10 album entry at time of writing.

Most re-issues don't crack the top 10. Only other Roger related album in the charts is DSOTM at 95.

My first post! :D

Those who have never appreciated Amused To Death, or think it contains 'filler' are unlikely to change their mind about the 2015 reissue. For those of us who think it is the best post-Floyd concept... the new version is amazing!

The main additions are the 2001: A Space Odyssey sample in Perfect Sense Part 1 & the guitar solo in The Bravery Of Being Out Of Range (swoon). Aside from that - the keyboard, guitar, backing vocal and other instrumental parts / samples which were at times obscured in the original mix are noticeably more distinct / better balanced. Particularly in denser segments, such as those featuring the singing crowd in Perfect Sense Part 2. To my ear, there also seem to be less treble & bass 'spikes' - jarring moments when either of those frequencies stick out like a sore thumb.

Some minor elements have been removed.

Love it.
