I believe that people don't have the ability to "make" other people feel things.

All emotions emanate from within. If someone's feelings are hurt, it's because they allowed it to happen.

I agree and disagree with you at the same time. Am I insane or just "on the fence"?

What if he decides to stop playing shows in the U.S. in protest of Trump? <.8.>

The way politics has shifted to the right virtually across the world, Roger is running out of his ideal places to live. Russia? I suspect he will continue with his comfortable life in the USA with the odd outburst.

It's a fair question though. How can he go round the US berating the president with his shows?

Even if the guy is a racist, misogynistic prick, it still seems foolish

Well...we ARE talking about a guy who once thought that HE was Pink Floyd and that without him, the band couldn't possibly continue and when they DID, thought he could bring in the law to make them stop.

Pretty foolish.

Perfectly consistent, though. *shrug*

He did it with Bush in Leaving Beirut during his Dark Side tour, to a pretty negative response and still did it night after night. So no doubt he'd have no second thoughts about doing it to Trump.

Fair point.

Was he as aggressive with bush though? I don't think so

But a pig which reads fuck the president is something else

Freedom of Speech.

It's not a crime in the US.

But, if he were to say "Kill The President," he'd have some dudes with nifty shades and suits wanting to have a few words with him.

One point occurred to me. Would you want to go to a concert and have some 'trumped' up rock star berating someone you may have a lot of faith in and may have voted for in the US election? I know for sure that would piss me off no end and it certainly isn't what you pay your hard earned cash out on. He's becoming a bit of a 'Bono' ever more these days it seems.

It would. I'm not a Smiths fan, but even if I was there's no way I'd pay to have that twat Morrissey beating me over the head with his vegan nonsense
