As I said, respect is gained as a performer. Roger doesn't inspire that.

It makes you wonder what it's all for really
Rehashed songs, lip syncing, stage striding as opposed to playing. I think he's just bored. It certainly explains the fancy visuals, without those the lack of musicianship would be glaring and very conspicuous

Even with prerecorded bits and who knows how many hired guns up there, it does sound "empty" more often than not. I think it's a result of Roger's tight grip of everything and poor musical direction. All his solo shows have been like that since in the flesh.
