You're welcome.

I'm going to dowload 2001: A Space Odyssey this weekend, in the hope that I'll get to watch a classic. Stop me if you think it's not. 8-[

Fantastic to hear!!! I want to see it really badly now. I continue to read awesome reviews online by non-critics. Strange that it flopped at the box office.

I really enjoyed it too. Not sure why it got panned, it was really well done. Shame it bombed, I would have liked to have seen a sequel.

I watched When A Stranger Calls (the original, not the lame 2006 one). The first 30 mins freaked me out (to an extent), though the rest of the movie couldn't keep up with the quality.

Having fun on Halloween day watching one of my fav movies - The Nightmare Before Christmas! It's just so quirky, can't get enough of it! (Those who like Nightmare may like Corpse Bride too, though the latter is not as good.)

I went to see the new James Bond film during the week and enjoyed it. For sure it's hokum but it was enjoyable all the same and the action scenes were really good.

Was there anything new in it or was it the same old 007 scenes recycled for a new movie?

i loved it, and im not a james bond fan to be honest.

its the first bond movie which attempts to put "the man behind the spy" story into it... and as youd expect with sam mendes its done excellently. The movie is built on the foundation of simply brilliant acting. Craig is excellent, Bardem is fantastic as the villian and Judi Dench is brilliant as always.

Its definitely the best bond movie ive seen to date

Yes, that's a very good description of it. It was definitely "weightier" than some of the Bond films. I'd not be a big Bond fanatic either but this one had more to it than the usual "nutty lunatic wants to take over the world" shenanigans. It had a nice charm to it too and by the time the film finished I had a smile on my face.

On the plane to Florida I watched :

Bully : A documentary on peer-to-peer bullying in schools across America.
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1682181/

Searching for Sugar Man - Two South Africans set out to discover what happened to their unlikely musical hero, the mysterious 1970s rock 'n' roller, Rodriguez.
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2125608/

Both very watchable and recommended.

On the plane home I watched :
In the Land of Blood and Honey - a love story set in the Bosnian War - blah blah blah
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1714209/

Dont bother your arse.

  It's a crying shame you're not employed as a film critic. You can't beat someone cutting through the bullsh!t and telling it like it is
