The great thing about "Sons of Anarchy" is the fact that it is fictional. The "reality" avalanche of tripe that is saturating the airwaves is more degrading to people than the over-the-top plots of "Anarchy" or "The Sopranos", or any of the myriad programs that seek to display the underbelly of society, imho.
I was bereft at the ending of the season of "American Horror Story", but BBCAmerica has rescued me from a dull winter with The Fades. It isn't as frightening as the former, thusfar, but it appears to have potential for some chills.
What are you watching, or last thing you watched?

Last night it was the film Tinker Taylor Soldier Spy.
If you not familiar with this, if you haven’t seen the T V version with the late great Sir Alec Guinness then you’re in for a treat if you like spy films. I found it a little disappointing as I have the T V version and for me no one but Alec Guinness can play the part of George Smiley.
After all that I prefer the book .

Watching the news about the stricken cruise ship.......
...and the Sky presenter said "she's lying on her side with a gash the size of a tennis court". I just happened to glance at the other half and now it's all kicked off.

Last thing I watched (or started watching ...) is American Horror Story - fairly fucked up so far. Not bad.

I did watch that a bit but I had an appointment and had to go away from the screen. It certainly was a nice match.ddebil wrote:Probably the best tennis match I have seen in years!

Moneyball - good movie.
Ides Of March - enjoyed that too.
The Descendents - enjoyed it but don't get the Oscars hype
