I was happy to see Carl Palmer win the Virtuoso award. Seeing as this is the first Prog (Or "Prod" if you read the newsletter ) award ceremony, shall we take bets on who gets it next year? If it's a drummer then it's got to be Bill Bruford. But will that be too predictable? And would Robert Fripp turn down the award?
Well done to the Floyd for winning the award, but will the split cost them the Lifetime Achievement gong? (Probably not seeing as Genesis won it and they've had a lot more splits!)

A/w I learnt that the Macca song Somedays was the last survior in a song elimination thread I started on the Macca official forum last year not long before I thought the board had become inaccessable to me and the other board members had taken most of this year up until about 2 weeks ago to finally eliminate all but that one song. I've spent nearly 8 yrs in jail and never knew that. Then again I used to have a little saying I used to tell my visitors when they asked me things about what goes on in jail 'I know about as much as I care...and in both cases it's very very little! Also I was padded up next to Colin Joyce for about 6 mths and didn't know who he was until I'd got released and saw him on the news being sent down for 38 yrs!!! He was one of the biggest gand bosses in Manchester!! I even had a little spat with him.
