Installation Of AutoSave Failed, Notepad++

Notepad ++ Plugin
I'm using version 6.1.5
All it's telling me is this:

Is it just because of the version of Notepad ++ I'm using? Or because I'm using Windows 7?
It's not a massive problem just curious as to why it's not working because it would be a very handy plugin to have

Seems a bit too specialist. Perhaps uninstall and try again??

Indeed. When you reinstall, try right clicking on the .exe and select Run as Administrator. Even though I'm the administrator of my Windows 7 computer, it doesn't always remember this and installations can fail.

Did as suggested and it worked. Sometimes the simple fix of blowing it away and starting again is the best solution I guess.
