What I also have a problem with is that you can't open them up if something goes wrong. A couple of years ago, a colleague's daughter put a CD into her Macbook and it jammed. Because of the way the Macbook was built, nobody could open it up like you can with a laptop. Luckily it had a month or two left on its warranty so he had to send it back to Apple for repairs.
Likewise, if you own an iPhone, iPod etc. with a battery that's not working properly any more, you can't simply open it up and pop a new battery into it. I don't give a toss about Steve Jobs and his aesthetics when it comes to something as crucial as a battery.
