What is it with acronyms?

Talk about anything in here from the price of tea to the state of the economy!

The existence of sites like that does not eradicate a human beings stubbornness to figure things out for themselves.

Maps have existed for millennia, yet put a man behind the wheel of a car (at least in America) and he will refuse to use it.

Communications allowing people to exchange information (which predate maps, even) do not stop these same men (again, maybe it's just a US thing,) from stopping to ask directions when he is lost.

I'm sure there are corollaries in other cultures of "a tendency to needlessly complicate a simple thing." *shrug*

Not everyone's as evolved and intelligent as you, danielcaux. <ii> <ii>

Sorry for the delay, man...just now saw your questions, lol.

My ultimate summation of The Endless River is that it just sounded like a mix-tape of beginnings, guitar solos and endings of Pink Floyd songs that I hadn't heard before. I kept waiting for a song that never really came; it just kept morphing into yet another song that also never really came.

But I don't feel cheated because one can never have too much good housecleaning music.

About three days after it was released, a friend of mine wanted my opinion on it before he decided whether or not he was going to buy it.

"It's been out for three days and I haven't bought it yet, take what you will from that," was my reply.

I'd probably like it better if it had more vocals, even if the lyrics were tepid. Roger hasn't been in the band for almost 30 years now, I've lowered my expectations for Pink Floyd lyrics. Even poor lyrics with a decent melody would do, I think.

I don't think it was a "drift" situation so much as an enthusiastic "veer."
