Ok, i'm very sorry about this people, but do any of you have a copy of Lord Of The Flies handy? If so can you find the page number that features Piggy getting that huge bloody stone knocked on top of him. I need the page number where it actually hits him, don't ask why, just try and find it please.
To Keith Jordan- If nobody has included a page number by the end of the night then feel free to take this thread down because i can just check with someone else tomorrow. I would just appreciate if somebody here could save me the inconvenience.
Thanks. And one last thing, what do you lot think of the book Lord Of The Flies? Not bad eh?
A page reference

Powerful, rather thought-provoking stuff, me thinks. Studied it at GCSE - and still enjoyed it; testiment to its readability indeed.
Le page number is 200 (my edition is dated 1996, so it's probably the same as yours).
"The rock struck Piggy a glancing blow from chin to knee; the conch exploded into a thousand white fragments and ceased to exist."
Golding always the optimist, then...
