Two new Roger Waters songs are being released via Roger?s own Sony website, iTunes, Sony Connect and any other legal digital download site. The new songs are called To Kill The Child and Leaving Beirut.

true, though the politics of Set the Controls or Eugene are a little more ambiguous...

if I remember the Schaffner book correctly, Roger's mum was an oldtime Labour activist in the 50s, so he was exposed to all the issues and debates from a very early age

when they all became millionaires after DSoTM, Dave Rick and Nick all spent their $$$ on typical 20something millionaire excesses, but Rog bought a block of flats in London and donated it for the poor folk to live in

I most definitely don't want to see him leaving that side of himself behind!

Coldplay do that, although I think they are actually calling it a day now. He always had make trade fair written on his hand, the singer I mean, whats his name Chris Martin?

i think a man as brilliant and sensitive as Roger can not keep silent in the face of the current events. he foretold the 1st gulf war and he is aware of the fact that we are witnessing these days some really critical times that might lead to the destruction of the world. i do not expect him to ignore such grave issues and write romantic songs songs particularly at this stage.
