Artists feat David Gilmour

Post by jizhomer »

I just heard that Dave features as lead guitarist (surprisingly :lol: ) on a track on Caroline Dale's (the cellist from DGIC) new solo album. The track's called "Babbie's Daughter."

Anyone heard it? I know the album isn't out until May, but you know what the internet's like... :-;

Can we compile a list of everything that Dave has guested on with others. Here's a couple off the top of my head...

:idea: :idea: :idea: :idea: :idea:

with Mica Paris, Jools Holland - I Put A Spell On You
with Kate Bush - Running Up That Hill

Any more? :D

There's a list of approx. fifty guest performances listed in the PF Encyclopedia. If I remember, I'll type up the list at work this Wednesday. Unless somebody can beat me to it, that is.

Thanks pfco, that's a mighty long list!! :shock: :lol:

I notice that the majority of this is pre '94, what about post '94, or is Dave just enjoying retirement now? :cry:

Once again, great list :D

All About Eve
(1991) Touched by Jesus (Vertigo CD)
David Gilmour plays guitar on "Wishing The Hours Away" and "Are You Lonely"
WOW, I didn't know about that one, and I got All About Eve's first 2 albums. I guess I should get that third album (Touched By Jesus) too, just for Gilmours sake. And if you didn't know, All About Eve were (or acutally are, since they reformed a while ago), a brilliant mixture of Gothic/Folk/Shoegazing-rock, with maybe the best female vocalist EVER (Julianne Regan). \:D/

Hey Keith, do you think this is legal to post this here, since I'm essentially copying the text straight outta the encyclopedia? (Notice how I've conveniently asked you after posting it.) I'll delete it if you think I should.
