I just happened to buy Dream Theater's Images & Words today and I thought: "I wonder what other people's latest albums were." Of course, a gift counts too. :P

For more discussion, would you recommend it?

The last album I got was Kraftwerk's Electric Cafe (1986). It's great, I love it, but I'd recommend Trans-Europe Express (1977), The Man-Machine (1978) or Computer World (1981) to first-time buyers.

I hate that smiley more than war and famine.

Anyway!

I believe the last thing I bought was a Willie Nelson double disc...can't remember the name offhand.

The last music related gift I received was the "Paul McCartney: Back In The U.S." DVD. :) My son Jakob watches it and says, "Gooooooo Paul!!!" at the end of each song. Cuteness.

(P.S. That's "go", not "goo". Hehe.)

I rarely buy records any more, and I'm seriously struggling to remember the last one I bought - I know it was this year sometime... **wracks brains** I know I was going to buy Bartok's music for strings, percussion and celeste, but then I bought a video instead... that's really the nearest I can get to the last time I bought a record :D

Good for you, to not own it is a crime and it should only coast a fiver in most places anyway.
