I think that VU&N is great record (not as great as most of Floyds and Beatles') and it has emotional value because it was one of my first touches to 60's music, first one was I think Jefferson Airplane, Live At Monterey. Memories... oh! Memories and that golden time of my childhood at mid 90's...David Smith wrote:Did you like Velevet Underground and Nico?

Once I was about to "rent" (I don't remember the real word for this) from library, but I didn't. Maybe I will when I go next time to big city, Rovaniemi.David Smith wrote:Got White Light White Heat yet? Also a brilliant album.
It's nice when people recommend some bands to listen, I began to dig Pink Floyd because my brothers wife recommend Delicate Sound Of Thunder

Trust me, when you do you should love it, the most drug oriented album ever with totally raw guitar riffs and Lou Reed before he turned crap. Has such godly songs as Here She Comes and Lady Godiva's Operation (the best VU song ever.) If you haven't got the self titled album or Loaded then i would advise WLWH before them any day, Loaded is much better than the self titled one though.JML wrote:Once I was about to "rent" (I don't remember the real word for this) from library, but I didn't.
