What else could it mean?
"Does you bass have a little in-built battery powered speaker?"
im downolading the interview now. but i think the answer to the said 'battery' question can be cleared up. i have an active pick up on my semi acoustic ovation, and it's powered by a 9 volt battery. slap me if i'm outta place here guys.

well you know he always said that he isn?t a musician... that he really is not interested in all that stuff. i find it very surprising that those reporters were really that strange. and they kept asking him questions about echnical details...tsssssssss
I agree, that was very wierd that the reporters were asking those questions, and they brought up the Wizard Of Oz/DSOTM thing, which really made me laugh.
I also kinda want to take back what I said anyway, I mean first off, all those cats at the music store: not really musicians, most were washed up guitarists still living in thier parents basement.
and that is true, after you have been playing live for so long, the equip is probably not really that exciting anymore. especially since you can really get anything you want! i guess after you get the equip you like then it is about the songwriting, and roger does seem to enjoy talking about those type subjects.
once upon a time the early floyd got a better reception in France than in England
Roger said he met his Ca Ira collaborators back in the early days, during the 68 student revolutions
and much of the very early bootleg material we have is from French radio and TV broadcasts
maybe this boring audience is all Grand Prix people who dont ordinarily listen to music?
According to The Times (UK), the French are not only boring but it would seem they are only the 19th most intelligent people in Europe!! hehe. UK came in at 9th I seem to remember!!
