Syd Barrett 'Home Video' question

Post by Atom Heart Sun »

Hi
Is it that I have a dodgy copy or is everyone's like this? Amongst the wonderful Syd footage a really annoying, irrelevant modern day scene cuts in of some guy sitting at a table and pouring wine.

What the hell is that about? Anyone know?

Cheers

What is the nature of the Syd footage? Is it live stuff, or something like "Syd's First Trip"?

It's him looking handsome and happy messing about in a summery garden with some girls circa 1969.

Does anyone know anything about my question?

The clip containing the "modern day scene" is from the movie Nick Mason's been making for years and years. A 20-minute rough-cut version was shown at Knebworth'90 and bootlegs of it appeared not long after.

No way!

Then damn Nick Mason's film making ambitions!

Ok so maybe there was an accident along the way..

I wonder what Mason's film is like, I'll bet it's really boring.
