Thank you for your wonderful music and thank you for introducing us to such a wonderful band Pink Floyd.

No words....Syd had a sad life.

It's awfully considerate of you to think of me here
And I'm most obliged to you for making it clear
That I'm not here.

Only just saw it on the news on the TV. As they say: "I hope he found the peace of mind and the rest he must have seeked for most of his life." This is a sad, sad day indeed. I wonder what caused his untimely death.... :(

Diabetes-related complications. In the last years of his life, he went in and out of the hospital because of that :(

and itd been such a good year for Pink Floyd up til this point...

thanks Syd for all your influences upon my musical experience in life

Syd be in Heaven for sure! His Shining light was foretold to him when he wished to join the Way of the Ascended Masters and was told he had to stay with his Music!!

He has shone so brightly for Millions of people for 1/50 of the elapsed time since Jesus Walked!!

Wherever you are Syd, i hope the folks there will appreciate your unique gift as much as we do here.

Without Syd there may have been no PF and when i think about how their music has been with me through so many aspects of my life, from good to bloody awful, i have to say thank you Syd.
