Mikel from Seattle
Hi, thought I'd quickly say "helloooo" and thanks. I'm a long-time collector from Seattle, I was lucky enough to see "The Wall" concert in LA (Feb. 7 1980 - first ever performance) and have seen each tour by the band and most of the Waters and Gilmour tours since then. I'll probably pass on Gilmour in the future, he seems to have lost it (the new album sucks IMO).
I used to collect/trade live stuff, I've got 3 steamer trunks full of stuff that I'd love to offload to someone to make DVD's and CD's of and get 'em out into the world again, I don't want to keep archiving them but am leery of losing the collection as some pieces could conceivably be lost forever if I let them go.
Ok, all for now. If you want to buy vinyl or promo goodies check out my website: http://www.mightyvinyl.com

P.S.... yes, Slayer does suck.

Hi,
it's a pleasure and honor for me to be here!
I found NPF site quite a time ago, but somehow never thought of bothering someone by introducing myself.
Well, but let me do it also in a name of Pink Floyd fans from Lithuania. And for sure there are very many of them here!
As a free lance writer (and sometimes musician) I also had a luck to publish an articles and essays on Psychedelic culture, Pink Floyd and Hipgnosis in most respected Lithuanian weekly "Literature and Art". Also we had evenings of psychedelic music in the library and even sessions of intuitive music and improvisation. Songwriting, creativity in the moods of the everlsting umma - gummas are also could be mentioned
And it all would be impossible if growing up without Pink Floyd!
Here, in former USSR in the 80's it meant so much, that it would take whole article to tell something. Starting from the point when at age 15 some of us were eager to acquire the LP of Pink Floyd in price equal to a month salary (it was usual at that time) and so on.
Also let me express thanks one more time to Neptune for providing a lots of great materials and for reminding about Pink Floyd all the time!
With peace and respect,
Lukas Devita
