Here is the Syd Barrett estate listing.....

http://www.liveauctioneers.com/catalog/11121

A better listing than the search in my opinion, so there you go!

Could this be the book Syd was working on... on Art History?

I am going to save all of those images one by one and write a commentary on them for the magazine tomorrow depending on my hangover! I am sure I can pull a story/picture together of him a little more as a person in his final years from those items!

One book on psychiatry had his name written in it, but he had put a white sticker over it to try and hide it! Perhaps he was embarassed about his condition and being associated with it? Mmm.

Gotta be:

I can just see myself riding down the road, singing:

"You're the kind of girl that fits in with my world" at bewildered female passersby. :D

One article in 'Syd's Primary Scrapbook' has an ironic headline: "The Diamond Exhibition Is Really Going To Blow Your Mind"

If I had the money I would bid on the Teddy bear. It was probably his as a child... then again the mini-stereo with the green painted dots would be nice for the kitchen...

The colours don't match.

But good similarity, anyway.
