Anyone around the LA area know of a good place to buy this, or is it hard to find (I'm assuming it's an import)? I don't normally buy magazines but would like that CD....

Re: This months MOJO Mag
These magazines (NME and RS are also offenders) do these "anniversary" magazines a couple of times a year, use the same essays with the paragraphs jumbled, one or two "rare" pictures, and try and flog it as original material... Is this because today's music scene is terrible, because rock and roll has already become a terrible parody where Van Halen's Running with the Devil and The Kinks' All of the Day are consigned to the rubbish heap of "classic rock radio" or is it because said glossy mags know they can make a mint for little work? Or none of these?

Re: This months MOJO Mag
Why don't you EXPLAIN WHY you feel these two songs should NOT be played on the same radio station or why they should NOT be classified under the same term?my breakfast. wrote: today's music scene is terrible, because rock and roll has already become a terrible parody where Van Halen's Running with the Devil and The Kinks' All of the Day are consigned to the rubbish heap of "classic rock radio"?
For example: I will now explain WHY these two songs should not be played on Classic Rock radio:
They are both over twenty years old and are now Oldies
BTW, Alan, I got my year classes confused:
Ten years old is Classic Rock.
Twenty years or more is Oldies.
My bad.

We're always told by scientists that we're a rapidly ageing society... they show us how to get old in spite of being loaded all the time... I'll hurry up and buy a copy as long as it's still availablemy breakfast. wrote: Probably because nobody wants to hear about a bunch of strung out 80+ year olds?
