i wouldn't buy this because:
-it's too expensive (mainly )
-i already have the albums (most of them anyway, digital and mp3)
-it doesn't have the Early Singles disc as the other set
it would be great to see the Early Singles album sold alone, instead of inside that other boxset.

They should do deluxe editions of albums similar to what The Who did for Whos next Tommy Live at Leeds. with outtakes demos alternate versions etc. Thats value for money unlike this box set which is full of errors missing albums WTF.
Thats utter shit value for money if a company is selling a box set with bits missing shouldnt trading standards be aware of this and take it of the shelfs till the problems are solved?

Exactly. Surely they know that there are lots of Pink Floyd fans out there who have all the albums, all the DVDs etc. and don't want to buy yet another version of DSOTM.azza200 wrote:They should do deluxe editions of albums similar to what The Who did for Whos next Tommy Live at Leeds. with outtakes demos alternate versions etc. Thats value for money unlike this box set which is full of errors missing albums WTF.

The problemis they would run out of material by about AHM. There isnt enough material in the floyd archives for that kind of treatment.snifferdog wrote:Exactly. Wall, Final Cut and Zabriski Point sessions, demos and rehearsals in the last decade surprised me - who leaked them, is there more? Sure, Seabirds...

They have soundboard recordings from 1970, 1972, 1974 and 1977 that they could use, and doubtless there are recordings from other years and tours.

not me. i've got one of the sets with the misprinted wall lyrics. the "out of office" reply said that they'd be back on jan 3, but so far, no other reply. my guess is that they're swamped. if there were 10,000 copies pressed, then they've probably got 9,999 emails complaining about misprints, missing discs, etc.omnicron wrote:better question is:Damn!t wrote:did ANYONE get a full set?

I got mine today and I absolutely love it! It looks and feels so exclusive! Okay, it might not be so spectacular to you guys, but I only had like 4/6th of the albums and only in digital form. So, yeah, this is something I'll cherish.
