First of all, it is just a live album. There have been no reports of any video release of it.
Secondly, this was the only concert that was performed with a forty-piece orchestra, and included Astronomy Domine, as well as a special version of A Great Day for Freedom with orchestrations by the late Michael Kamen.
And thirdly, I would like to eventually see some good footage of this concert, because David did say there was so much fog at one point that they were crawling around blindly on the stage looking for their effects pedals. That's a lot of fog.
Doesn't matter. DVD or CD, it's still going to have audio that is not going to sound very different from audio that I already have.
Are the versions of AD and AGDFF going to be radically different from the ones on PULSE...or Royal Albert Hall (in the case of AD?) Because if not, I see no point in buying them again as I already have live and studio versions of them both.
Finally, fog doesn't really impress me that much...but that's a funny story.

I'd probably be slightly less disagreeable if he'd released this before the Royal Albert Hall DVD. That way, the audio might just whet my appetite for a visual representation of the show and I might just buy them both.
However, since the DVD came out first, I already have audio and video from this tour and I just don't see the point of this disc.
