Well, let's see...these aren't direct quotes, of course, but in the very first band scene following Echoes part one, Nick is seen telling the camera that he would like, "chips, beans and an apple pie with no crust," I think.
A little later, he's asking someone if they still have the crustless pie...it is then revealed that all they have left are the round pies.
