Pink Floyd's David Gilmour is to appear on Jools Holland's Radio 2 show on Monday 10th November 2008. He is being interviewed about Gdansk album/DVD and will also perform an impromptu version of Albatross by Fleetwood Mac accompanied by Jools Holland's band.

Jools' show is broadcast on BBC Radio 2 between 10:30pm and 11:30pm GMT.

Well, on my initial listen, it's a bit meh. Alright but nothing to write home about.

On a second listen, I like it better. I'm not a big fan of the original which clouds things a bit. I just obtained it

Excellent version of Fleetwood Mac's "Albatross".

Just heard it on a disc from the Mother Country. Good version of "Albatross", although not as good as Peter Green's original (how could it be?). Nice to hear and to have; shame DG only played that one track live in the studio.
