Whilst I appreciate that this isn't a thread for The Amber Herd, we got hold of this pro- shot footage yesterday from an acoustic radio session we did for the BBC. I thought Mossy and maybe a few others might want to have a look. On it you'll find a rare acoustic version of the ubiquitous Magnolia, together with another, non- Double Core song, again in acoustic form. Cheers.

In another act of using the Double Core topic to plug The Amber Herd, we have just been voted one of the 12 best live unsigned bands in the East Midlands of the UK and have the chance of opening the main stage at Summer Sundae, which is a big festival in Leicester, where, if we win, we'll be playing with The Charlatans, The Streets, The Beat, The Zutons, Bon Iver and loads more.
If you are so inclined, please vote for us to play via the following link:

http://www.bbc.co.uk/nottingham/content ... ture.shtml

This is a huge opportunity for us and were it not for SimpleDumbPilot and The Return Of The Sons Of Neptune project there would be no Amber Herd to even be considered for this!!
Voting ends tomorrow (Wednesday) at midnight (UK time) !!
Thanks a lot
Neil, The Amber Herd xx

So long as you're using The Amber Herd to also plug Double Core, we're even.

Just kidding, man. :D

Good to hear that things seem to be happening for you guys. That's awesome. :D

Cheers Mossy. We sure are promoting DC at all times! In fact, if we get this show, we'll mention it from the stage and get all The Streets and Idlewild fans getting into some proper tunes!!!

I am a noob here os it was a pleasant surprise to find this collection here :)
I just spent a very enjoyable time listening to it all.
I picked "Come And See"
Just something about that track, very very cool IMHO.

Having done many internet projects I can fully appreciate how projects like this can eat your life.

My congratulations to all for their own respective works, the whole, and the idea to do it in the first place!

You can hear,if interested,what I do:

Welcome to the forum, Nigel.

Thanks for your kind words about Double Core (and I'm not just saying that because you picked one of my songs as your favorite, lol.)

If you're interested, we're in the beginning stages of another, similar project.

You can find out more in the thread entitled "This Could Work" in the NPF tributes forum.
