it was indeed. a sort of 'demos and alternatives' of his solo work... and contains the majestic title track.

I have it in my Syd Barrett box set thing...

When my exam is over in May, I shall aim to get everything finished on the site that I am in the middle of.

* Concert Database
* Lyrics Listings
* Discography

I certainly have plenty to be getting on with there. :-(

Opel was all previously unreleased material, even if most of the songs were alternate takes of songs from his 1st two albums ... not at all a compilation in the sense Relics Echoes Works etc were
theres also the Radio 1 Sessions that were released a couple of years back, again alternate versions of songs already heard elsewhere, but all new all different performances ... and its the only officially released BBC material from them Floyd boys

...
also missing I think is When the Wind Blows, and surpisingly PULSE and Delicate Sound of Thunder?
When the Wind Blows is more interesting than those live albums and worthy of discussion
and the "meltdown" dvd and Live In Pompeii are worth adding too, they may be filmed concerts rather than true albums but theyre essential parts of a civilised person's Floydian discography

I have a couple of exams coming up next week so perhaps after then.

You could always start a new thread or two if you like in the same format as the existing ones. I think you can do that. :)
