Is this officially endorsed by Pink Floyd or is this your company's app and not the bands?

It looks to be official, though I'm not saying it is. It sure does have a nice and slick layout, though. :)

It does look slick but it also seems like it is provided by thisdayinmusic.com which is not Pink Floyd.

Yeah, I also noticed that if you scroll down the page you can see a Zeppelin app, too. It looks exactly like the Floyd one. I thought the "rainbow" layout was specific to the Floyd app. Apparently not. This probably has nothing to do with the official Floyd site.

Hopefully we'll get information on the official app soon.

It is official, we've worked with the band and their managers as well as EMI in putting this together. Our team (part of This Day in Music) have spent over 12 months working on the information included in the app.

The app contains a guide to every one of the 167 studio tracks the band officially released, as well as more than 100 Pink Floyd images, over 200 quiz questions, over 200 items of trivia, the rarely-seen, newly-restored video of Floyd's 1968 single 'Point Me At The Sky

We are very pleased with the results!

There's room for both and apps like these should be available on both platforms.

Isn't Android a much larger market? Why go for a smaller market with the iCrap?? :)
