I'm confused. As far as I know, in 1980 Roger weared white headphones and in 1981 -- black. Assuming that this is right, the new footage (Immersion) is defiintely form 1981, and, let's say this video is definitely from 1980:

This video, which is from Other Side of The Wall documentary, and the new footage are from the same concert.

Am I right?

You seem to be right. But from which concert is the new footage?

I'm 99% sure it's from June 1981 but this thing bemuses me:

The disc itself says that the footage is from 1980.

Must be bullshit. As you said, Waters used white headphones in 1980. Seems like Pink Floyd themselves have no idea what year this footage is from :)

Although it looks like they recorded it on film instead of video.

That footage is shot on videotape unless it is panned and scanned (aspect ratio is 4:3)

Since you can crop or matte ANY footage into ANY aspect ratio you want that really isn't a prove of anything. The image quality looks like film to me. Film has higher resolution and that soft texture while video is harsh and with the weird hues.

"Happiest Days" from Dortmund above does indeed look like film (probably transferred to videotape), if you look close you can sometimes see film speckles.

That Happiest Days clip was indeed shot on film but it's an old SD transfer and wasn't shot with an anamorphic lens.

So we know that the Dortmund and Earls Court shows were filmed on 35 mm. Maybe this foreshadows the incipient release?

AskRonToon: didnt you incorporate footage fr some other source into Divided We Fall that wasnt in the original circulating bootleg? spec in Hey You I recall originally five minutes of a fixed camera pointing at the audiences view of the wall, whereas in your version there was this really slick moving camera descending behind the wall and showing us the band the audience could not see
where did that footage come from?

also, what is this new Harvested release you hint at?

By the way, have you noticed the camera/cameramen in the new footage? I've been searching for them -- unsuccessfully. And what is this thing?
