That's the most colourful and thorough discography of anything anywhere ever I have ever seen! Some would consider it excessive!!

Thanks for the link, I shall use it as reference.

There is also a frightening amount of information regarding serial numbers of all sorts of different pressings of the various albums here > http://www.pinkfloydcd.com/

Who actually needs all that information? Is it not the "art" as in music on the disc that matters and not the fact the album was pressed in a few countries and given a few different serial numbers to make distribution cheaper? They are all the same aren't they? Are there people who have 20 copies of Piper at the Gates of Dawn on official CD? Why???

I guess that's important info for collectors because sometimes some of those pressings sound better than the others. I'm still searching for the definitive remastered CD of WYWH :( The 1997 edition with the man with no face in the back cover.

I have a copy. How much are you willing to offer for it?

Are you just doing the "basic" 1st releases, or re-issues etc? There are sooo many !! I have just purchased the 4 vinyl albums [Atom..Obscured.. DSOTM & Animals] on "The Golden Anniversary" label, though these are "unofficial" they are still nice items [Limited to 1000 copies of each]. Personally I prefer buying UK vinyl issues, {I have a complete collection} tho I do have most on Cd as well. Also Promo's? Do you want any info on these?

Perhaps - but a necessity for the PF collector. Actually the worst thing about LCP is that the car sound overwhelms the songs. I have heard the songs without the car sound (on Youtube if I remember correctly) and that makes a lot of difference.

Another film soundtrack by Pink Floyd was recorded in 1968 I think called The Committee, it remained unreleased for a long time but apparently got eventually released in 2010. https://www.discogs.com/The-Pink-Floyd- ... se/2501689

The blurb from Discogs:

" A Film score by Pink Floyd from 1968 which has never been officially released until recently. Directed by Peter Sykes, Written and Produced By Max Steuer. Staring Paul Jones.
All tracks composed and performed by Pink Floyd and have never been issued before, with the exception of B1 and B2 which are by The Crazy World Of Arthur Brown.
Important: There are no official track titles on side A. The titles mentioned (as taken from back cover) are, in fact, the timing position of the tracks on the DVD of this movie. "
