Shout Out Out Out Out - Spanish Moss and Total Loss...hmm, seems they've been absorbing some Kraftwerk and Krautrock influences.

The Great Deceiver (Live 1973-1974) box set - King Crimson - Love it. Found a used copy last week in excellent shape and very, very affordable!! Previously I had one of the 2 disc sets separated from this and re-issued.
This weekend, found Intergalactic Dada & Space Trombones (2011) - Radar Men From the Moon. Instrumental trippy/prog/stoner stuff. Love it!!

FM - Surveillance (Re-mastered CD)
Edgar Froese - The Virgin Years (boxed set that includes re-mastered editions of Aqua, Epsilon in Malaysian Pale, Ages, Stuntman and Pinnacles)...thankfully, they are the original albums and not the 're-mixed with new material added' travesties that Froese released on his own. Glad to finally have a CD version of Epsilon, which is one of my all time favourite albums, even if they did split side one and side two over two discs.

Who Is This Is by The Stairs.
Review I wrote:
"I bought this CD with hope that the inviting album and track titles and the annotations were talking business - and tell you what, the annotations in the booklet were quite possibly the BEST liner notes you will ever read; because they were completely different, something else.
Then I turned the music on...
My God, what a disappointment! Just hardly average and rather annoyingly sung blues-rock that slowly descends into average garage-pop or something. Very rare moments of something interesting and even magical (such as the jam in the song Stop Messin', which is track 6). I can't even begin to describe how my sky high hopes have fallen. Meh..."

Riverside - Second Life Syndrome
A few people have mentioned this Polish prog band before, so I thought I'd give them a look. After listening to a few previews I decided this album seemed to interest me the most.
So far I've been enjoying it rather a lot. Some moments were very reminiscent of Pink Floyd and Porcupine Tree, which is a win in my book. I'm enjoying the atmosphere that the keyboardist adds to some of the tracks, especially the 15 minute title track epic. Some of the lyrics are a bit average or cliche at times, but there's some great vocal moments.

Re: what's the last album you bought?
I buy a lot of digital music now, but I don't really count them. The last physical CD's I got were Census of Hallucinations trilogy of albums "The Spirit of Yellow", "The Coming of the Unicorn" and "The Nine". Great psychedelic music!
