It annoys me slightly when dates are added for after what was the final night. I deliberately bought tickets for the first and last night.

Obviously it's great that more people get to see the show, but it must have been obvious that it would sell out quick and more shows would be added, why not just release all the tickets at the same time.

I'm only mildly miffed though, as I'm still going twice :D

Damn the extra dates sold out fast! Was looking to add a third nite.

Shame I will no longer be going to the last night of the tour too.

It was a bit sneaky that having two more nights at the venue booked in advance ready to sell! They could have announced the final night and kept that, then added other nights in the week run up! Exciting that there will be concerts and an album though!

Christ talk about greed! Been watching loads of people have a melt down on twitter about not getting to go at all and here we have someone going to two shows whinging about not being there on the final night

Anyway, delighted to secure two seats in the front arena in the presale for the opening night at the albert hall :)

So how is this for a bit of luck. A couple of weeks ago a friend of mine asked if I wanted Clapton tickets at the RAH as his Dad owns two seats. Apparently his mum was a cleaner there, the RAH owed her money so instead of paying her she was given two seats. Apparently quite a few seats in the RAH are privetly owned and these can be sold on behalf of the owners by the RAH (for a small commission) or they can do it themselves. So on Friday I couldn't even get close to getting tix so I asked my friend if his Dad still had his tix left and he had them for the 2nd. Result!!

All I have to do now is sort out somewhere to stay

All you lucky bastards. I couldn't order my ticket directly via the venue website because they made the payment possible only in Croatian kunas and not in euros, and by the time a local website here made it possible to purchase tickets through them (half a motherfucking hour later!) they were all gone. ](*,)

I've found out that some of the tickets are only reserved for three workdays and will be made available again if not paid until then, so there's a slim chance I'll get one on Monday or Tuesday, if I'm lucky enough. If not, I'll be going to Pula on my own to sit outside the Arena drinking beer and crying.

Where the hell is Mulino Theatre in Florence (Le Mulina Teatro, Florence, Italy)? I cannot seem to find anything out about it. Anyone know?

Well, we've already established that the wheelchair people get the best bargain at Gilmour's shows (cheapest ticket + an escort gets in for free), so why not host a bingo in between sets too? You should get a free bingo card at the entrance and the wheelchair folks should get two.

Well, I'm EXTREMELY proud and happy that he is coming to my country. Bought couple of the "cheapest" tickets. :)))))
Good part is that I'm on vacation on that day, 20 km from Arena in Pula. :)))))
"Bad" part is that I have two kids that I dont know where I'm gonna put that night, becouse I thought wifey should come and see the man herself. lol
Sweet worries.
Arena is a great venue. The tickets I bought are for standing at the back of the arena, but we'll be standing on steps and the stage is usually moved forward, so its not that bad at all. It's all very intimate and ancient. Kinda like Pompei.
Collegaue of mine from work is a journalist who also works for a music portal over here and that portal is a sponsor of the event, he is a fan, so I'm hoping that he will score an interview with the man. In that case, he will have an extra photographer - me (fingers crossed).

Tickets are home, tucked away safely from my litlle monsters. Dont want to have my 2006 italian ticket odyssay all over again.

It's still so far, far away... Damn. Dont rule out any option yet. I'd go and stand outside the arena if I didnt bought the tickets.

Just remembered my question to Guy Pratt, some time ago (and his "elaborate" answer):
