There's been a lot of debate on what will or won't be played and DG has no shortage of choices, but I wonder if this cover will feature on the live tour?

It's lovely, although I'd have the backing vocals turned down a notch, I really like it - it sounds like a labour of love. Gilmour's voice sounds like he's 23, it's almost unbelievable.

I agree with the above poster - just lovely. As usual David's voice is soothing, like a lullaby. However what's up with the piano?? It reminds me of those piano recitals I sat through when my son was in grade school. Eighty six the piano & you have an almost perfect piece of music. JMHO though.

Here is the whole album, I think DG does lead guitar on some tracks.

It's pretty strange that the album is named "David Gilmour & Friends", being that it includes tracks that neither feature David Gilmour nor were recorded by people who are his friends per se.

Hi there! Is there anybody who knows on which tracks Mr David Gilmour is contributing? And is there any information what Mr Joe Gilmour played on the track mentioned above?
As for possible contribution by Mr David Gilmour, I think I heard a Gilmouresque sound on the track by Mr Robert Wyatt.
