I shall be upgrading the forum software either this weekend or next time permitting. During the upgrade I could install a new "theme" which is the way the site looks. There is a new "responsive design" theme which works well on smartphone and tablet computers as well as desktop computers. Is this something I should do? Thoughts?
P.S. There is no "cobalt" theme!

Smartphone support would be awesome, but not sure if I could deal with NPF looking different!

Nope. It just displays this message:
Not Found
It looks like nothing was found at this location. Maybe try a search?

Sounds like a good idea to me. NPF doesn't look the best on a phone.

When APFFN still existed, Paulo installed the new software with responsive design (XenForo, the same system the Steve Hoffman Forums use) and I got used to it rather quickly, though some of the old board's more obscure functions had disappeared. However, when it all went down this year, one point of criticism was that the posts had become stupid because everybody was aiming for getting 'likes' (which I never felt, but that's just my opinion).

I've often longed for a "like" button, here.
Quoting someone just for the sake of saying "right, mate" as the sole content of response now requires too much effort.
Epiphany: I'm not getting "sunnier."
Just lazier.

Keith. This is what the NPF homepage looks like on my phone. Is that how it's supposed to show up?

Are you referring to the broken navigation - the green box top right?

It has been on my list of things to do for a while now but not sure how to fix it!
