What Pink Floyd album is your current favorite?

What Pink Floyd album is your current favorite? So, what PF album are you currently listening to the most? For me it's Meddle. I've listened to that album a whole lot in the past week. \:D/

I've really been listening to The Division Bell and The Endless River equally as of late. Can I say that both are my current favorite?

Have you heard the "Forever And Ever" edit of both albums that's out there somewhere in the dark corners of the internet? It's really quite excellent.

Based upon my mood, I'd have to say Wish You Were Here or The Wall. Lately, it's been The Wall.

For me, it's musical spectacle. It's a trip down a dark rabbit hole with that tiny glimmer of hope at the end -- both albums, really.

Since a few months I've been listening to The Division Bell a lot... But nothing will beat when I got into Animals 6 years ago.

Most recently I was listening a lot to Saucerful of Secrets. But my favourites are still More and Ummagumma.

I've not as yet listened to Endless River. Bought it the same week it came out, played the first two tunes and that was it. It sounded absolutely wonderful so much so, I have treated it like a fine wine that sits in the rack awaiting that special time to drink it.
No idea when I will feel the time is right to play it but it has to be the right moment.

Animals is the one I'm presently listening to the most.

Slightly off-topic, I've noticed that the so-called "Classic Rock" stations are finally treating Floyd with the same respect that they've always treated bands like Zeppelin and Cream...which really just means that there are four songs that the stations think are the only songs the band ever did. *shrug*

Yup especially in the States... Classic Rock means Another Brick, Money, Time and Comfortably Numb you might hear Hey You or Have a Cigar if you are really lucky but that's about it.

Animals and Meddle. Their best, IMHO.

Every once in a great while, Young Lust.

Wish You Were Here way more often than I'd like. *shrug*

Makes me long for the days when I would put Animals on to track while I passed out drunk...on the floor of the radio station I was working at.

Still The Wall I guess. One problem is, it's not really a "band album". I once had a bit of a preference for A Momentary Lapse of Reason, which was even less a "band album". Still, as Syd wrote almost all of the first album, is that not a "band album" either? I liked Obscured by Clouds, perhaps the most ordinary sounding of all Floyd albums, but maybe better for it. Going by the credits, it is quite collaborative, Waters 8 credits, Gilmour 7, Wright 5, Mason 2. I thought "Stay" with Rick's lead vocal was a good ballad, actually b-side to Waters' "Free Four" in the US release. I thought "Stay" was certainly more radio friendly. I thought "The Gold It's in the..." also b-side to "Free Four" in other countries, had a catchy, garage rock, 4-chord riff, similar to "Tiffany Queen" by The Byrds(previous year).
