What was offensive about last night?

Post by cool09 »

In Camden NJ. Heard Philly DJ talking about something Waters did during three songs that some people found offensive. Didn't catch the entire conversation.

Based only on the stuff you see on YouTube and elsewhere I would guess it's all somehow related to Trump. Trump is a bit of a Waters motif right now as I understand it, at this point in time anyway, and not at all complimentary shall we say...and some folks have walked out or gotten a tad ornery over it.

I'm amazed to hear about how thin skinned some audience members can be and how flimsy their political leanings can be.
And it's not just Roger's audience.
Go to see Neil Young and he does the lesser song "Impeach The President".
Now, sit there and wait for him to do "Like A Hurricane" instead?
Nope! Sit there going "Fuck you! Fuck you!" or storming out in a huff! After paying through the arse for the concert tickets!
Still no idea what happened. But yeah, Trump isn't as loved and supported as everyone would like to think.
In other news Pope still Catholic.

It's literally one song on slamming trump and then a couple of other quick slams in other places. Apparently republican snowflakes need a safer space because their convictions are fragile enough to be influenced by a song.

It's pathetic.

Actually, what it is ..is the old "fake protest move", like when they send operatives to go boycott movie theaters to stir up controversy over some film. These people are "plants" and the stories are written before they even go to the show. It's Politics. It's not even real. It's as old as the oldest newspaper.
