Apart from the repeating bits of Great Gig that were deliberately repetitive, I actually really liked the proper singing parts, even the Bryan Chambers part.

Thank you for the reply twcc.
It seems hard to find in Canada too. Haven’t tried record stores yet. No online inventory checking lol
Even amazon has it shipping in a few weeks.
Looks like my dream of the last night at the Albert hall (at least comfortably numb) is not happening. For now anyway. Last time, he released the Albert hall night on dvd and then the special venue one. This time it might be no Albert hall or the other way around (one can only hope). Cumberbatch is a high profile guest but I wish they’d included the last night, as the solo was outstanding. And it might be the last performance by Gilmour ever.
Anyway, +1 in the great gig. The version is great. I do think that on earlier shows, the 3 part harmony was a bit reduced at the beginning, and with less repetition. Unfortunately, this Pompeii version I do not think captures the magic of the live versions we were privy too in England. It reminds me a bit of the mess Roger’s singers make of it actually. Perhaps that’s why it has a negative connotation for me (those singers are awful).
Not really looking forward to a Roger show in less than a month. Looking forward to this Blu-ray but now I really want video for one of the shows I attended (seems like all I get is the cunberbatch one).
Any more detailed reviews of the extras? Seems many of us saw most of the show in theatres

The Amazon UK listing for the Deluxe edition is shown as 'in stock' and is intriguing as discs 1 and 2 are presumably the CD ie just audio and discs 3 and 4 are Blu-ray (region A, B and C compatible) but the listing includes a large number of extra tracks and more documentaries than those shown on the back of the packaging.

For more details, the Amazon UK product can be found here -

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Live-At-Pompei ... 086&sr=8-1

If this doesn't work for overseas readers, I'm guessing Amazon may default to your own territory, then try a search for the ASIN ie B073ZYKLLG

Thanks again. I have a feeling that the Canadian release date is later in October. For the deluxe anyway. I’ll maybe try record stores this week. Don’t feel Like placing a future order online (both Us and CA amazon have it shipping later).
The track listing seems to double up the songs for Wroclaw and South America. Either they’re alternate versions (doubt it), or it’s a typo, or they’re the same video but different audio format or something like that.

Watched most of it now……a fine record of the event. The CN solo is fairly long and satisfying to my ears, I wondered for those at the RAH 2016 how it compared.
Was wondering additionally, whether any of the bonus blu ray material might be released separately at some point. the last tour had RAH and Gdansk released in full in various formats.

A full south American show for example would round things off nicely, clearly the shows were filmed professionally so would make sense.

The shows in South America, were filmed in different countries?
If so, is there material from Argentina?...

Sorry for my language, I can't speak English. I use an online translator

OFF TOPIC -

DSOTM is listed as 508 weeks ... really. DSOTM is shown as a RHINO release ... most odd, none of my copies are on RHINO.

I know! I don't know how but the band seem to have been cheated on the charts with that Rhino label.
It never left the charts since its release!

Here's the official response from the UK Official Charts Company -
The Dark Side of The Moon was released in 1973 on Harvest Records, a Division of Capitol Records

Rights to this release are now controlled by Rhino, part of the Warner Music Group. The chart reflects ownership of a release at the time of chart publication

The 508 weeks on chart does include all appearances on the album in the Official Albums Chart

Many thanks

Chris Austin
Head of Operations

Official Charts Company
Riverside Building
County Hall
Westminster Bridge Road
London SE1 7JA
For info, 933 weeks on the USA Billboard chart and around 1,900 weeks have elapsed since the initial release in March 1973.

Fantastic!
Well they have stopped charting the sales for it as TDSOTM is out of the charts!
The album topic has fallen to 21.
Surprised the posthumous sales haven't taken off for Tom Petty.

Very nice concert, brilliant sound and venue and some very nice new versions of songs we haven´t heard a long time (Sorrow, What do you want from me?). But I am getting so tired of the extremely dull shows of Gilmour. Looking at One of these days or Run like Hell for example the lights are so uninspiring, just randomly spinning spotlights, the same we have seen since 87 from him. I very much prefer the Waters versions with reduced lights and focusing on the projections, makes it much more interesting to watch a concert. Imagine the spectacle of the latest Waters tours with Gilmour playing guitar and singing his parts, it would be perfect.

It’s here! That was quite wait from amazon. I guess it wasn’t really in stock.

Anyone know how to find the version with BC at the Royal Albert Hall? I’m confused... still working through every title...
