It was a real shocker getting up on Saturday morning with that news. I never realised he was ill to begin with. Rush were one band for some reason that I never had the privilege of seeing. No idea why either!
As for Neil as a musician, there is little doubt he was a class above in terms of technique and power. It's incredibly hard to accept that we won't hear from Neil Peart again.
