This morning I searched on 'Dark Side of the Moon' on Spotify. As often happens with very famous albums, all sorts of things turned up. One thing that I found quite interesting was an acapella version of DSotM by 'Voices on the Dark Side'. It's an interesting listen. I think perhaps the arrangements could be slightly better, but overall it's well done.
It's an interesting listen. My favourite cover version of the album is still Mary Fahl, but this is definitely worth a listen, IMHO.
One thing that stands out on it is how good the music is for Us and Them. I think that might be PF's best song ever, musically.
It can be found here: https://open.spotify.com/album/6MYGO99X ... 7jeeETH8Cw

Interesting listen....I like it pretty much.
Still my fovourite DSOTM cover is done by The Flaming Lips.
And I like this as well: Flaming Lips: Flaming Side of the Moon Session

This is what the DSOTM would sound like if Syd Barrett was still a member of the group 1972-1973. Very trippy.

Re: Voices from the Dark Side
Thanks. I listened to most of the album on Spotify, and then the two other tracks (Breathe, and Time/Breathe Reprise) on YouTube.
It's an interesting take on the album, and like the Mary Fahl version, brings The Flaming Lips' own view on the material. I agree that it sounds like DSotM might have sounded like if Syd was still leading the group.
