These are good songs, arranged and performed well. I've heard Carin's early work with bands etc., and I think this is the best work I've heard from him.

If anybody is interested in the music of Jon Carin, he worked extensively on Richard Butler's solo album. (Butler was/is the lead vocalist of The Psychedelic Furs). Carin's role seems to be much more than just a side musician, Carin composed all the music and played all the instruments. Unfortunately the album is not on Spotify, but there are some tracks on youtube. I think this is the most Floydian music I've heard from Carin. It's not very Floydian, but somewhere vaguely in the ballpark.
