Pink Floyd featured on New Dune Trailer

Hi,
I watched the new Dune trailer and it had a cover of eclipse. I find it exciting that DV paid homage to the unfulfilled Floyd soundtrack. We’ll have to wait and see if it features on the film. I guess they went for a cover instead of the actual music for some reason.

It's actually Hans Zimmer covering Pink Floyd, which is pretty amazing. It also sounds like they either used some elements of the original track, or they spent a lot of time nailing Doris Troy's backing vocals.

Agreed. I’d forgotten it was HZ doing the soundtrack when I posted. Indeed when I heard the vocals I thought briefly that it wasn’t a cover, or the initial bits were a cover and then the original came. But I think it’s just a faithful recreation. Haven’t watched the trailer again though.
