This album is no longer necessary...since the release of the introduction album...now who is going to start a thread about that?

But it's the only solo Syd I have. Never hunted for any, just saw this CD lying around somewhere.nosaj wrote: ↑Fri Dec 24, 2010 12:54 am This album is no longer necessary...since the release of the introduction album...now who is going to start a thread about that?

Re: Syd Barrett - Wouldn't You Miss Me
At the time it seemed the ultimate solo Syd album.
I was tempted to mark one point for Late Night being so early in the mix. But voted 5.

My first Syd release, I remember listening to it on endless repeat back in the days when you'd listen to same old CDs over and over. Great for Syd beginners and some would say that it's the only Syd Barrett release you need...

Re: Syd Barrett - Wouldn't You Miss Me
I'm quite surprised to see that Syd Barrett's Peel Sessions is missing from this forum, although I suppose with that just being 5 tracks its more considered an EP rather than an album, but I see Two of a Kind has been included in this one, one of my favourites from Barrett. Is it Nick Mason who wrote the lyrics to this one or so I've heard.
