Ridiculous? Yes.

Top 10 album with a #1 single? Also, somehow, yes.

I mean given his political stances it's no surprise to me he'd upload videos to his YouTube channel bluntly addressing things like this.

I don't think you want to do that.

1. Thank you. I cannot tell you how badly I needed that laugh today.

2. You're now my tertiary best friend. I'm sorry, but you cannot usurp the gold medal twins who're my real besties.

Seriously though, thank you.

I really, really, really needed that.

I forgot about David Sanborn, who played alto sax and flute on all three legs of the Diamond Dogs tour. Michael Kamen was one of the budget cuts on the final leg, but played oboe, Minimoog, and electric piano up until then (Kamen also whips out an English horn on David Gilmour In Concert, and is one of the people that On An Island's title track was written about). Kamen and Sanborn play all over The Pros and Cons of Hitchhiking, though Sanborn skipped the tour (Mel Collins of King Crimson and Wet Dream filled in); they then teamed up with Eric Clapton when he quit the tour, and made...all four Lethal Weapon soundtracks - which unlike some albums they've appeared on, sold really, really well.
