Rick talks a bit about Syd. I won't spoil it for you, though. I love checking out interviews at the time, as opposed to describing events 40 yrs after -- memory loss, revisionist history to fit a band narrative, or whatever is politically correct, popular, trendy... If you check out all their interviews from the beginning, chronologically, you'll find out more, and probably understand them more, by how a story changes, or simply what they include or omit.

The interviewer sounds incredibly uninspired by his interview. Rick was never the ideal candidate for this type of thing, but it's still great to hear him talk.
The Syd Barrett bit was rather amusing.
