Only just caught up with "Between Two Points" and "Dark and Velvet Nights" because, y'know...life stuff.
Really like the weary melancholia of Two Points, with Romany's vocals really adds to the atmosphere of the cover. I'll check out the original at some point to compare.
Velvet Nights could have been on On A Island or Rattle That Lock it's that samey. #Meh

Only a few more hours. I think we're lucky that we're still getting PF related stuff in 2024. I never would have predicted that decades ago.

I suspect this isn't the last PF solo album ever, too.

Now that we know the lyrics for the luck and strange album, I wonder if David will be able to remember them all? Quite a number of the songs are quite long winded and wordy, rather than short little lyrical pieces.

Congratulations David Gilmour on Luck And Strange topping the album charts and seeing off the Oasis re-entries!
I'd review the album but I need more time. I do love the concept of a man dancing with his ghosts in a barn. But the track with Rick Wright really slows it down and that's about the third track.
It might need a tracklisting jiggling.
