New set of "official" bootlegs for copyright, on streaming Services

Post by Eclips »

Several of those live recordings are again avaliable on spotify, for mainly the 1974 tours. The Empire Pool show is there too.

They usually remove those in a couple of months, since they mainly serve for copyright purposes.
EDIT: they don't seem to be available anymore.

This years they added 13, if I counted right, recordings from 74.

Most of those feature early SOYCD versions, You Gotta Be Crazy, Raving and Drooling, full DSOTM live and Echoes.

The ones I have listened to seem to have better quality than most of the previous sets.

I'm going to try to check them all this time, even though the song list do not vary as much from set to set.

Is it only in my country, or were these already taken out?

I only found them yesterday, so they may have been around for a couple of more days, but I just checked now and they seem to have disappeared. Or at least temporarily. Meh...

For those who are interested in the 13 live albums from 1974 released on 6 December 2024, all 13 are available as DRM free HD downloads (FLAC, WAV etc.) at https://www.hdtracks.com/. Wonderful platform for these things.

p.s.

These ones have something fantastic on them. I noticed that these albums include my favorite obsession, Shine On You Crazy Diamond (Parts 1-9), which has been played live as a single track on numerous occasions here. It is 21-22 minutes long. A must have.

I was surprised they were taken out of spotify and youtube music earlier this time. Maybe it was to prevent people from somehow ripping those to mp3. Or there was no special reason, but they were only half an week this time.

The 2022 set of albums were relatively long available on youtube music, and were taken out much later than on spotify.

It is cool that HDTracks still has these from 74 . Even qobuz does not feature them anymore.
