What next ?
Was wondering what are expectations for further, if any, activity regarding The Saucers in 2025 ?

Re: What next ?
They now pretty much played all the old stuff for several tours now. So it is time to do the Man and the Journey Suite finally in full.

Re: What next ?
Another tour would be good and even if it is low tech they are quite enjoyable. Also of the 3 of them it's good that he still comes to you and you not having to travel to them

Re: What next ?
Must admit, personally, I’m not optimistic we will see The Saucers on tour again..
I was at the final show in a rain soaked Frankfurt, last year, and it really did feel like it was the end to me..
What with Gary Kemps on stage comments about the bands tour history, just felt that the ends had justified the means and they have done what they set out to achieve.
Then we had a further ominous sign that merch was being sold off on the website. Is this a step toward folding the site altogether?
Hope I’m not being too melodramatic here, and pray I’m wrong..

Re: What next ?
I would love a new official release with Echoes and other songs they focused on the late tours, to complement the debut release.
I love love this project, and was very cautious in the beginning, but it surprised positively.

I know that shows from the various tours have been recorded for archive purposes, but not as yet for public consumption.
I think that anything from the Echoes tours would be very well received. It will be down to the record company if this comes to fruition, and whatever happens to any future Saucers activity.

Live recording on one side, etched on the other. Black Vinyl. Nick Mason’s Saucerful of Secrets share an incredible live cut of their interpretation of the classic Pink Floyd song “Echoes”. Propelled by Nick Mason’s bombastic drumming, this recording captures the band with Gary Kemp, Guy Pratt, Dom Beken and Lee Harris at the peak of their powers. The performance was recorded on August 1st, 2024 at the Centennial Hall in Frankfurt, Germany by Steve Carr. Echoes Live was mixed by Steven Wilson with consultation and assistance from Dom Beken. It was half-speed mastered by Miles Showell at Abbey Road and plays inside-out for ultimate sound quality. The b-side includes an exclusive etched design.

Fantastic. Pity the website is not kept updated … Anyway, this was recorded at the final show in Frankfurt.
I’m assuming we’ll get the whole show later, but nevertheless great news.

Re: What next ?
Just this one ? Ah,that’s a shame. But there is a lot of material they could use. Maybe an EP at this stage rather than just a one-off track, albeit a special one would have been nice.
