If we would go further down in this, he did ''David Gilmour'' album while he still was a member of Pink Floyd, 1978.Yucateco wrote: Thu Apr 03, 2025 7:21 amsame with About Face after TFC. But he was much younger then...Hadrian wrote: Wed Apr 02, 2025 5:09 pm
He actually did this before (in a way). When he finished the 2013–2014 recording sessions with Nick Mason for Pink Floyd's The Endless River, he went right back to the studio to start recording his solo Rattle That Lock (2015) album.

Re: David Gilmour recording new 2025 album
Scattered looked so much like a farewell song, but I am happy it is not over yet!
And I would love an official live release containing the last album's songs (especially Scattered with the extended emotional guitar solo - one of his best ever - as in the recent live performances) and this possible new album's too so because I am certain it would be great, since he is really inspired these days

Polly posted some more pics from Abbey Road and one of them included a shot of David watching/editing some footage from the tourEclips wrote: Fri Apr 18, 2025 5:21 pm Scattered looked so much like a farewell song, but I am happy it is not over yet!
