Interesting, so that would be the Pulse concerts?

I just emailed Pink Floyd's manager to see if there is any news on it.

The Pink Floyd Later Years boxset included a restored and re-mixed Delicate Sound of Thunder however the Pulse Blu-ray and DVD were only restored and re-edited i/e it was not re-mixed. Pink Floyd’s manager confirmed to NPF that the new release would only contain “TDSoTM and encores and it’s both audio and a/v”. He also said the recording would be released “at some point” in the future but didn’t specify when. For future updates, please get our Pink Floyd newsletter.

David Gilmour personally commissioned Alan (who engineered the original 1973 album) and approved the final mixes.

Announcement today on Facebook.
Are they releasing the entire show or just the DSOTM live bits?

Welp.

This is a no go for me then.

But, it would also be a no go if it were the whole thing too.

* Statistically, Dark Side Of The Moon should be playing somewhere on the planet every minute of every day.

* Album still sells 10,000 units a week 50 years since its inception.

* There are over 1,000 (ONE THOUSAND!) different officially-released versions of The Dark Side of the Moon out there.

* TDSOTM is listed in the Guinness Book of World Records for being on the charts longer than any other album in history, namely 591 consecutive weeks or 11.4 years.

I love this album, surely 5 star, but I miss the epic feel of WYWH (and its otherworldly atmosphere), Animals, Atom Heart Mother, Meddle and Live at Pompeii.

Ooh, this album flows so beautifully. I'm never tired to listen to it a one more time. As Waters said once; We reached the zenith with the Dark Side of the Moon. We achieved all of our goals. After it, you could only go backwards, downhill..

Still, a big kudos to Pink Floyd for managing to maintain the very high level of a quality of the albums they made after the Dark Side.

Having a day of listening to all albums in order and finally got to this. Been listening to this album for over 40 years. It was the 2nd PF album I ever listened to. It was interesting to hear after just listening to everything that came before. Everything was a dress rehearsal for this. Every decade that passes makes this album hit deeper and deeper. I can't listen to time without tearing up. There is only one album that matches this, and I'm just about to listen to it.
