Syd Barrett is and was my most major musical love.

I was just saying to my boyfriend a couple days ago when we were listening to "Piper" that I had no idea what I would do if Syd Barrett died.

Now I know.

Sadly, he may have already been dead before I said that.

I am very saddened by the death of one of our leaders

. I thought that there had been a disturbance in the force but I just could' nt pinpoint it.

. Very dissappointing to know that we will never see or hear from Syd again. My deepest condolences go out to all in the Floydian family.

Heard that too, people can e-mail in their thoughts too to the show, still trying to find the words tho. There may be a tribute slotted in on TOTP2 on BBC2 at half 7, I dont know for sure, just speculating but it seems the most likely place if they will show anything on TV. Sky News did a short feature by the looks of things but I only saw the last few seconds while channel hopping, it might get repeated???.

RIP Syd, I feel like I lost a good friend. He had a big influance on me as a musician. I feel like I owe him a lot, I appriciate everything you did Syd, I guess he's up there with the rest of the ROck and roll Ledgends, Shine on you Crazy Diamond!!!! Thanks Justin

I imagine there will be a feature on the 10:30 ITV news. Give them time to prepare something for TV broadcast. The BBC tends to steer away from features although I imagine there should be something on Newsnight on BBC2 later.
